The Trieste from Footprints by Birkenstock is constructed with soft leather/nubuck uppers and snugs the foot nicely. The cork/latex footbed provides superior arch support. The rubberized outsoles add shock absorption and comfort.Most of Birkenstock shoes come in two widths: regular or narrow. Regular width shoes are designed for medium to wide feet (Women's U.S. widths B-C and Men's U.S. widths D-EE). Narrow width shoes are designed for narrow to medium feet (Women's U.S. widths AA-B and Men's U.S. widths C-D).The difference between regular and narrow is primarily through the toe area of the footbed. When a regular width footbed is held back to back with a narrow width footbed, the loss of width is most obvious at the little toe.
